It’s becoming increasingly important to develop and implement land stewardship and land protection that considers the challenges of a changing climate. This workshop, held December 11, 2014 at Highstead in Redding CT, aided the H2H partners in identifying the climate change impacts most relevant to the project’s focal areas. Participants learned how to apply a ‘climate change filter’ to potential conservation practices in order to identify actions that private landowners can then use in their own backyards.
